Just got back from the Offspring show. AWESOME. Since we were running late we missed Alkaline Trio and Anberlin (not a big deal). The first band we saw was The Used. They put on a pretty awesome show. I'm really into them now. After them came Taking Back Sunday. I didn't really like their music but they had amazing energy. The singer was always dancing, swinging around the mic, and at the end of TBS he climbed up the stage supports and hung up 20 feet in the air for a minute. After that it got real crazy. The Offspring came on and opened up with You're Gonna Go Far Kid. They went on to play, Hammerhead, Come Out and Play, Pretty Fly, and a great performance of Gone Away with Dexter playing the piano. They played a few old songs I didn't know then went off the stage. After a couple minutes they came back for an encore playing Want You Bad and Self Esteem. Awesome.

I would have been majorly pissed if I missed the Trio.

But still, Offspring are fecking amazing, so it still seems like a pretty good gig.
