Hay, I'm doing this thing for a charity called Relay for life, and my friend and I have to book a few bands to play. Right now we're trying to get some local bands, but I would also try to get Sum 41, if anybody knows how to get a hold of them or their manager I would really appreciate it, and does anybody know how much they cost, or maybe even if they'll play for free since it's for charity. :2cool4u:

1) ive had a relay for life at my school, just a bunch of drunk teenagers walk around
2) i dont think they would do a free show, in fact they would lose money because you need professional sound engineers for sum 41 to use

I'd say start off with more like unknown bands from Ontario that are still somewhat known and have a Fanbase. Brown Brigade would probably be easier. Ask Asho. She did a Charity Show with them.

We almost got the Bare Naked Ladies one year, but their management was gay, they wanted 300 grand... that's not going to happen.

Shit, never thought of that. Is Brown Brigade located in Ontario?

forsure. You can get them, the Organ Thieves, or some other local ontario bands.
