Pirate Bay Founders Sentenced!

Swedens high court announced it yesterday. They will spend one year in jail and pay 30 million swedish crowns to the record and movie labels, they origanally wanted 120 million. Wath do you think about this? To me it's like they would send a car manufacturer to jail if there car was in bank robbery. Anyway this won't effect my downloading at all.

Greedy bastards! If they want people to buy their shit, they should make it worth it.
(I do buy all my media, but I know not everything is worth the price. Especially here in Holland where EVERYTHING is overpriced except for weed)

i personally think they shouldnt be sentenced because they arent the ones posting the content i think the posters would be the ones in trouble, but stopping probablly 10000 posters not likely and im one too but i dont think they deserve any of the reprecusions.
also the posters shouldnt be busted either because they get the content and every torrent site is like limewire it is a peer too peer network.
also i think btjunkie is alright but for movies i would recommend mininova.org because that one is great and always works for me
even though it does have crashes every once in a while
