What type of phone do you have? Like Nokia, Sony Ericsson... etc.
Cuz I know with some phones, there's a wire you attach from the phone to the computer, and you add files to the phone's memory card...

It's not the brand, it's the model, silly.

you can record them through sounds menu [Verizon, not sure about others] ,but that sucks.

I use WavePad, so that i can choose the part;length; and fade in/out; then download to phone [w/ cable].

Do you have a memory card that you can put into you computer? btw if the memory has HC then it might not be compatible with all memory card slots/adapters.

http://download.cnet.com/Audacity/3000- ... 58117.html

It's for mixing tracks and stuff, but you can also cut the tracks to specific parts, it works well.

Also

http://download.cnet.com/MP3Trim/3000-2 ... mncol;psum

I use this for making ringtones because its pretty easy

Oh right :silly: oopz.

Anyways, back to helping Zach, Sony Ericsson Walkman phones all have that. And Nokia's music phones do too.
Or just ask your friends to send you songs/ringtones via bluetooth D:
