DS Lite vs. DSi

I was planning on getting a DS Lite tomorrow, but I was reading the paper last night and there's some new gizmo called the DSi coming out April 6th. Apparently the DSi backwards compatible with Gameboy Advance games, but it doesn't have the slot for it, so I don't know what's going on.
I'll probably get the DS Lite anyway, but I just want to ask around here. DS Lite is around $140 and the DSi is $200.

personally, i wouldn't get any DS. they just don't have good enough games for it, in my opinion.

DS Lite. You'll need the GBA slot for Pokemon DPP.

A DSi is pretty much useless, it has a bunch of stupid features that most people have in their homes or on their phone.
If you own a DSLite and then buy DSi then your very daft in my opinion

I ended up buying the DS Lite. After reading up on the DSi, I just kind of shrugged it off. The GBA compatibility was what sold me for the Lite anyway.

It has more of less the same things that a PSP had at 1st Launch, and it has better games in my opinion. Plus the DS is prejudiced of my left handed-ism
