First of all, if we didn't share that border, there's a good chance we wouldn't even be in this war. Second, I'm no expert on universal powers, but I have to assume that the most powerful country in the universe could win a war in less than 8 years.

I understand how incredibly rude and disgraceful, and offensive it is to Canadians, and this whole mocking session was uncalled for, but I don't understand why the Canadian Military would take a break in the middle of a war.

As far as I know, it's equipment shortages. You can't participate in a war when you have 40 year old tanks that have a breakdown rate of 70% and you ordered new ones from two years ago that still haven't arrived yet because they're in storage awaiting upgrades or something like that.
Anyway, that was the first time I saw that Red Eye video and wow. It was just like watching a group of popular kids making fun of the loser kid. The mentality, the jokes, the unfairness etc.
I saw this on the news a few days ago and Edmonton was just like, "Send in your videos with your thoughts in response to the Fox News segment, blah, blah, blah..."

Seriousley, it's americas war finish it yourself. It all the other countries that take the real burden. Sweden has the highest percentage og Afghan and Iraqi refugees in the western world. Even the idea that Russia would invade north america is maronic. Russia's first country on the invasion list right now is probabley Sweden because we made fun of Russias communist past.
