i have seen it being different in many places. the verse in sometimes showed as being straight open (drop) D notes, and then theres a different one saying its alternating drop D and high D in the same rhythm as the guitar.

and i the first part of the chorus, is it just open on the (drop) D? or is it something else?

sorry i can't be more descriptive, but i have to go to work soon. if anyone can post the 100% correct tabs for these parts, it would be much appreciated!

Yes, in the verse it alternates between low and high, and also yes, in the beginning of the chorus, it is open d's.

There's a gold mine. You'll probably need a program to open them up like audacity though.

too bad that most of the good ones are over about a year old and don't work anymore. but i managed to get a few good ones (all the small things, March of the pigs and Supermasive black hole). thanks tones!
