So...in your country, with what age can you drink, and get your driver license?
In Portugal, you can drink at 16 and you can only drive at 18.

in australia u can get ur learner's license to drive at 16 but u cant drive unsupervised until your almost 17...

drinking age is 18

we can drive at age 16
and drink at 21.

and drinking and driving does not mix.

omg...smoke at 18 only? lol, here in Portugal, you see kids with 11/12 years old smoking.
And I guess my country is the only one where you can drink so early and drive so later.

to get your license in australia; 1.Learners permit - have to do a computer test-you need to get 25 out of 30. 2.then you have to have the fuckin lessons at 45 bucks each, 3.then you have to do a fuckin driving test, then IF you past which many dont first shot (you have to wait months to go for it again) 4.you have to do 25 supervised hours with a parent and record the speedo and shit. THEN if your parents let you drive for 25 hours you 5.have to do another computer test to get your Ps which is your license, its pathetic took me like 10 months to get my license.

hehe still better than the NSW laws... bunch of new ones came into play yesterday... now learners have to do 120 hours of supervised driving (it was 50)!!!

thankfully iv already got my P's but the laws for red P platers are even worse... the RTA sucks!!! on your red P's its now illegal to drive with more than 1 passenger in your car after 11pm!!!!!!!! that means id have to leave where ever i am like before 10:30 if im gonna drop people home!!!! total bullshit

In Scotland its:
18 for drinking and 17 for driving
but there is talk that these ages will be getting out up :(

its the same in newzealand as australia. they are gunna put the ausie ones up aswell. it takes two years to get ur liscence over here! screw that.
