As for proper arenas... tell people to start buying tickets to their shows, then yeah, maybe you'll get arena shows.

Man, they come to UK all the time! I'd be freakin happy if I could see them play in a trailerpark. The smaller the venue the more awesome the concert!PunkSteve wrote: and when will they do the proper arenas rather than random halls!!!
All creds for the Still Waiting sig are for Jeremy!
Re: will sum be coming to the uk??
I would rather see them in an arena and be in the big front pit tbh, will hopefully go see them if they will play in UK its close to Sweden and all

I wouldn't care what the venue is as along as I get to see them.

Who cares about the venue? Just be happy if you get to see them at all. Small venues are better anyway.

Im with the masses here, small venue = bigger fun! and there is very little chance that they will play arenas, they did an arena tour in 03 to suport D.T.L.I and I dont think it sold amazingly well. Thell do venues sized at about 1000 to 3000 capacity id imagne (o2 academys and that sort of thing)

They will never play in big venues in the UK again unless they create Fat Lip 2. Manchester Academy was good anyway. I was practically at the front because the room was reasonably small :D

Re: will sum be coming to the uk??
no way would they shift enough tickets to justify playing an arena tour. they just aren't big enough. and, smaller venues are always better, more intimate feeling, being only 2 foot from the band. some of my favoutite gigs have been in the smaller venues.
Re: will sum be coming to the uk??
yeah, i suppose anything is good...
thanks :)
thanks :)
Re: will sum be coming to the uk??
but to me, the bigger arenas are a better show... better sound etc... & better accom.

Re: will sum be coming to the uk??
they seem to come evey year... ide like to see them play large arena just to let them know they have thousands of fans here! but also... it'd be good to see them ona smaller stage cause then you feel the smaller the audience... the more the bands can interact with them...

Re: will sum be coming to the uk??
Smaller venues are always more fun. I saw GD on their arena tour back in 05 and it sucked. You we're like a hundred feet away from the stage and didn't see shit.
Re: will sum be coming to the uk??
hey, yeah i totally agree :) they need to prove that they can fill arenas world-wide! i think one more big single, like another in too deep/fat lip, and they could really become commercial :)Glenny41 wrote:they seem to come evey year... ide like to see them play large arena just to let them know they have thousands of fans here! but also... it'd be good to see them ona smaller stage cause then you feel the smaller the audience... the more the bands can interact with them...
& a co-headlining tour with avril! ;)

Re: will sum be coming to the uk??
I don't think a band writes a song to become commercial. At least not these types of band.PunkSteve wrote:hey, yeah i totally agree :) they need to prove that they can fill arenas world-wide! i think one more big single, like another in too deep/fat lip, and they could really become commercial :)Glenny41 wrote:they seem to come evey year... ide like to see them play large arena just to let them know they have thousands of fans here! but also... it'd be good to see them ona smaller stage cause then you feel the smaller the audience... the more the bands can interact with them...

What a terrible scenario. Sum 41 selling out and co-headlining with the frontman's wife.PunkSteve wrote:hey, yeah i totally agree :) they need to prove that they can fill arenas world-wide! i think one more big single, like another in too deep/fat lip, and they could really become commercial :)Glenny41 wrote:they seem to come evey year... ide like to see them play large arena just to let them know they have thousands of fans here! but also... it'd be good to see them ona smaller stage cause then you feel the smaller the audience... the more the bands can interact with them...
