but the ending sucked ass

I've seen the original one and the alternate ending version. The movie itself was actually quite good, i liked the deserted big city and the part where the dog ran into a dark building where the infected were. Not so sure about the ending though, i'd say that the original's ending was better, because the Will Smith's character lost his family, so him dying too in the end made more.. sense? I guess.

i was in HMV the other day and i saw a bi, huge pack of the movie. it had this big picture book thing on it, and 2 different versions of the movie. has anyone else seen this?

Wow how come everyone thought the ending sucked? I don't get what people wanted? Did you guys see the extended version? There's an alternative ending. It wasn't bad, and Will Smith didn't die. I don't want to say what happens, but did anyone else see or know what I'm talking about?

ok, what happens at the end? he dies, yeah? is that what sucked about it?
if anything, that sounds like a much better ending to me - im sick of those cliched hollywood endings where the hero always survives
