yeh, you think if they'd rip of a song's name, it would be a little more common, like 'Always' MOTD is kinda specific.

[Dirnt told AP magazine that the songs “speak to each other the way the songs on [Bruce Springsteen’s] Born to Run speak to each other. I don’t know if you’d call it a ‘concept album,’ but there’s a thread that connects everything.”]

is it me, or did Mike describe it almost exactly like how Deryck described UH, like "all the songs flow in and out of each other. it's not a concept album, but there is a constant theme flowing through the record" ???

Yeah you're right! He described the album like it was one big pieces with many sides to it. :|
But now looking at the songs, it doesn't seem a lot like UH. So, we'll see.

1. We have known that it is a political song.
2. They didn't "rip off" Sum 41.
3. Locked.

I believe the response is in the Q&A on their main site.

I guess that's what happens when you try to take the piss out of American Idiot.

Well both songs are political, but I don't know. It's not like you can't have the same title. We'll just have to wait and listen to see which is better!

I personally don't care if they 'ripped them off', because even if they were ripping them off, they would've done it because they'd admired their work. And Vice Versa.
