this is driving me absolutly crazy.

i was listening to speak of the devil and at the begining and the end what he's saying "trying to find getting better ....alll i need in this life is one, one thing to believ in" i swear to god im hearing backing vocals. right when he says "all i need in this life..." i hear it. i swear its there.

can anybody else hear it? can anybody interpret it?

EDIT: I AM NOT REFERING TO THE AAAHS AND OOOHS OF THE VOCAL HARMONY

"Warning Signs"?

You really didn't notice those vocal harmonies, marry? One's going, "Hmm, hmmm-hmmm-hmmm" and the other's going "Oooo, oooo-oooo-oooo."

Besides Underclass Hero, Deryck does that on pretty much every song on the album.

lol Deryck says "Warning Signs" twice right before he sings "At the dead end..." :winkwink:

I thought that part just came at the end?

I've heard it before. But I wouldn't waste time trying to decipher it. I'll just assume it has something to do with lonely streets and something religious.

As I was writing the lyrics from scratch for the main site, I tried to beat the shit out of me to find out what the backing vocals are for Speak Of The Devil.
There are hidden vocals during the intro and outro, but the volume is so low that it's impossible to figure out the lyrics.
Same with Pull The Curtain during "Bring on the panic, the uncontrolled and manic", and I'm not talking about the "hey hey hey" -part.

Some of their songs have this "hidden backing vocals", that you can only hear them existing, but not the words.

Holy fuck. Okay well at the end, he says that twice. the first time it starts at "all i need in this life.." and continues till the end o.0 i'm starting to think it's the same voice that whispers at the end.
