i personally think obama made to many promises in his speech and it was overdone, but other than that im really excited.

I watched the inauguration. I loved the speech. But.. that's it. xD I couldn't care less either. My parents called me to watch it. I'm excited though.

and lol both obama and the guy reading it messed the oath up. probably the most important part of the inaguration and the messed it up. i thought that was kind of funny.

there's something i'll never understand cos i'm not american , the whole campaign is like a big show you know it's kinda weird for someone like me , in my country the campaign starts the month before the elections, in the usa the circus starts several months before (it felt like a whole year to me)
and another question i'll never undertsand why do i have to see your politicians in our news every fucking day of the week, i bet that many americans don't know who's our president so why should i care bout who's their president ? please don't say cos the usa rule the world.

yeah i kind of understand what you mean. and your right most of us don't know anything about the presidents of other countries. but i think its because what the u.s. does affects the rest of the world, or most of it. and i'm not saying that the u.s. rules the world and is better than other countries because believe me, i don't think it is.

America is the most powerful country, i hate to say it, but they are. they have the greatest economy and it sucks to have american news being forced down our throats, but its going to happen now and it's going to happen in the future. anything the states does affects everyone.

actually i think china is going to take over the world soon.
