Come on guys, if someone suggests to have pron posted in a band fansite, your basic instinct should be to NOT take it seriously (unless it's a bot, but that's another story).

Even though Sum 41 and porn are closely related, porn without Sum 41 in it is nothing but useless in a Sum 41 related forum.

To me it's annoying as hell to see topics like "NEW MUSIC POSTED!!!!1111", just to find out the thread was started in May 2007 and the latest post is "cool".

Like I said in the thread I posted a link to, if you really have something new to say, then bring it on. But no posts like "I agree" or "What he said" are pointless.

when i see someone asking for porn to be allowed here, i know that a part of them wish they could have porn, cos they don't know where to find it without their parents finding out. even though they say they are joking, they do want porn cos they can't get laid and need something to whack off to. asking for porn is not funny and Dave Baksh is not funny

Honestly, the Youtube video thing was more of a joke than anything. I locked the topic because it was completely stupid, and had to figure out a reason without some obnoxious kid giving me a hard time for doing my job.

You guys should put yourselves in our shoes for a day. We lock your topics because they suck. If they were decent, we would keep them open. Most forums that are attempting to be host to more than 5 members will lock the same exact topics we lock. Whenever we do something we get a hard time for it. Shut the fuck up, and stop crying. I'm sick of it. We shouldn't be questioned on our locks or warnings. If anyone should question us, it should be other members of the mod team. Other people that actually attempt to take care of the forum.

Yeah, I agree that the one month rule is stupid, but if it's a bump just to say "bump" or "lol" then yeah, it deserves to be locked. If it's a relevant bump, we won't do anything about it. If we do something about it, then that's when we're the ones to question.

But honestly, SamueeL. Do you really think the mods should treat the users who bash us all day in threads like this with respect? I treat most people on here with quite a bit of respect, and they give the same respect to me. The only time I don't treat users with respect is when they go off telling me how much of an idiot or awful mod I am. Anyone that really pays attention to this site knows that I am a great mod, and that most mods are doing an A grade job on here. I'll treat you respect when you start giving me that respect in return.

Also, pornographic material is unacceptable in just about any forum not dedicated to porn.
