Dave's Reply to My Qst about returning to Sum 41
Basically last nite I sent a comment to Dave on his myspace and it went like this: Jun 26 2007 3:12A
Hey Dave. How are you? Hope all is well. I guess allot of people ask you, but, Do you think you'll ever return to Sum 41, or is it 100 percent over? I guess it would be strange going back into a band that you have left, but because you were all so close it wouldn't be too hard right? And us Sum 41 fans will keep that hope of you returning until the very end. We need you on stage with the boys this Tom guy just isn't cutting it. we miss you. it's just not the same.
He replied with:
I appreciate the words. Of course I would go back but i would like to pursue Brown Brigade more. sum41 would take up a lot of time and I couldn't play things like funk and reggae. I am in a band that enjoys playing in a rehearsal space and a stage. It's heaven man.
So thier ya go. its not very clear cut if he wants to or is he doesn't...also note i may of started this topic in the wrong forum..sorry if i have. just change it if it's a problem.

I think they're in a really good place right now and are probably feeling just as, if not more, together and creative as they felt at the beginning. I think we're definitely going to see more Sum 41 albums after this one.
I really hope Dave comes back for the next record. Brown Brigade, although a family project, doesn't seem very stable. The music's good, but otherwise...
Before Tom became Sum's touring guitarist, I had this fantasy where it was all a big publicity stunt and Deryck would dramatically introduce the "new guitarist" and Dave would walk out with a huge grin on his face and wink. *sigh*

Adam (Open Your Eyes), Amy (Mr. Penguin), and Sasha (Young,Dumb,And Full Of Cum...) are my noobs.
Claudia is my grand-noob.
Lisette (bunny) is my great-grand noob.
