Deryck Whibley to produce The Audition

Deryck Whibley of Sum 41 will be sitting in the producer's chair for the next album from The Audition. According to a Rock Sound report, the band had this to say:
We talked to a bunch of producers before we got hooked up with Deryck from Sum 41. We hit it off instantly, he has a totally different outlook than any other producer we have worked with, he is really all about song writing and making sure all the songs are ready and that we have taken our time to put everything into them.
The Audition released Champion last year. Sum 41 released Underclass Hero, a Japan-only greatest hits collection and are planning a new EP soon.
intresting... anybody know if this is true?...

Thats cool, although I dunno who The Audition are haha.
Weird that the two reports are like from the same date and on one it says they'll work Deryck and on the other that it fell through. Well, I guess it fell through if they say they started recording of the drums and all, but Deryck is actually in the sudio with the Sums now.

Actually, i opened the page after reading Jeremy's post, those guys are made of win (the ones who posted comments, not that band)
