ok im gonna shoot myself ok but i need help so heres the story bout my ipod classic (new one) ive had for a few months now

ok i was at my mates house and we were uploading movies to the ipod and i acidently clicked sync so it deleted eveything off my ipod (all 1782 songs all with artwork) and many music videos and such. i was annoyed but i new i could fix it easy, so i went home and restored ipod (it said it needed to restore) uploaded the songs back and listened to my ipod for a few days, then i decided i wanted artwork back and i looked on ipod about 90% of the music already had artwork on it (it showed artwork in itunes) then when i disconected my ipod it had no artwork at all so i reconected and it came up with the message

The ipod "Kane's Ipod" cannot be synced. An unknown error has occured (-48).

thats the exact message. so yeh no artwork is appearing on the ipod but normal photos (in the photo file) will. and i think its something to do with that message i duno but yeh.
plz plz plz plz help
thanks guys

you try this?

1. Toggle the Hold switch on and off. (Slide it to Hold, then turn it off again.)
2. Press and hold the Menu and Center (Select) buttons simultaneously until the Apple logo appears, about 6 to 8 seconds. You may need to repeat this step.
