According to Wikipedia Deryck uses a '52 Plexi 100 watt Marshall Head. But after Googling a bit I can't really find anything with that specific name.. can anyone link me?

Does anyone know much about amps? Daves does always sound awesome so I may look into the Marshall DSL100.

U know, deryck uses many different amps, but the common point between these amps is that they're all high quality amps. I mean, he doesn't use peaveys or stuffs like that.
As fas as I remember, he most often uses a marshall plexi that he modded himself, some fender amps, and less often orange amps, and sometimes vox amps.
The guitar is also important for the sound, you can really hear the difference between a fender and a les paul when it's plugged in.... Wow, that makes me dreaming !
Also, if u wanna sound like dave, he uses tons of different pedals, which I don't know the name, and if I remember well, he uses soldanos amps more often than dsl100s, but once again, i'm not sure about it.
