So I was talking to this girl at the pub today(just before this)
Anyways Im going to talk abit more with her because it seems like she is in to punkrock just like me, she loves Nirvana and hadnt heard about sum 41, I like Nirvana too and i promised her to introduce her to sum 41s music.

I find it really hard to find others with the same music taste as me up here ^^, and it took a while for me to get into sum 41s music, the music just gets better and better the more i listen and learn about the music style. I think i started with still waiting, all messed up and hell song, those draged me into everything related to sum 41.

So which songs of the records do girls like most, if anyone got any idea which songs that impress people?
Im thinking about: Hell song & Pieces.

Um... girls tend to like the slower songs... but if she likes Nirvana... then play her something that kinda sounds like Nirvana...

Seems like a reasonable solution to me.

If she loves Nirvana, show her the Chuck album first. Also show her some songs off Does This Look Infected? like The Hell Song, Hyper-Insomnia, maybe even No Brains.

Songs from the Chuck album... pretty much all of them. Some Say, 88, Noots, Pieces, We're All to Blame, No Reason... etc.

Chuck is the most close Sum 41 album to Nirvana's masterpiece Nevermind.

good, I was thinking about some Chuck songs, first of all since its my own favorite album and its also their biggest punk album imo, wasnt sure if it would fit though =)

chuck for sure. chuck is what got me into sum 41.
actually noots got me into sum 41 and chuck was the first album i bought, and then imediatly got into them.

the only sum song I know my GF likes is In Too Deep. It's kinda 'our song'.

I think she'll like chuck. make her listen to 88 or Angels with Dirty Faces...? I d k, most of Chuck songs. I don't think she'll like All Killer No Filler... and actually, Underclass Hero is pretty good. But first try Chuck :]

i'd say start with DTLI?. Nirvana isn't that heavy, so start off with that and then go to Chuck. i say make her a mix CD of sum's songs that you believe she'll like.
