Merry Christmas vs Happy Holidays

this has been bugging me for quite some time now. i was raised Catholic, so i celebrate Christmas. and it's always been Christmas to me, so i personally hate the "Happy Holidays" political correctness crap. i'm not against other holidays celebrated in December, but i'm from America and it's a country with Christianity heritage, so i dont believe in breaking the tradition of saying "Merry Christmas" just because others may be offended. what do the rest of you think?

i hate saying both, it sounds so cheesy.
but forcing people to say Happy Holidays in case they offend non-christian people is all part of Beigeism, which must be stopped.

I say, "Merry Christmas" and "Happy Holidays." I like to switch it up. If someone gets offended, I'd say suck it up and stop being a pussy.

I was brought up to believe that Christmas was about Kris Kringle so I don't see Jesus part of it,
I've always said Merry Christmas and I always will, I couldn't really give a shit about Political Correction, I'll say what I think is right. Plus I have never offened anyone saying Merry Christmas!!

He won't say:
"Hello. I'm Peter. I'm a total faggot and i like to suck mens balls. this is not a lie. Here's a picture of me with my buddies on fag day parade:

"
Or would he?

i say merry christmas cause most people i know celebrate christmas.
the reason the church designated Jesus' "birthday" on December 25 is because around the winter solstice the days start getting longer. Jesus being "born" on that day signifies light coming from darkness and the savior coming to save us.
... is just what i learned in religion class a couple years ago. thought i'd enlighten you all.
