okay....so me and zachy (circuitzach) have been basically been back and forth

i KNOW that dubinsky is soooo much better than owen nolan, however zach seems to think that owen nolan is better.

1) nolan has played like 9402394812904 more years than dubi (keep in mind)

Dubinsky. No question.
Nolan is 36 years old, and he has been on 5 different teams in the last 5 years. He's not the player he used to be, his age proves me correct. He is no longer a great addition to your first or second line. He might be playing on Minnesota, because they probably don't have the best team this year... but Dubinsky is an up and coming player. He's going to be a great player pretty soon, I'd like to think. He played great for New York in the playoffs last year, and is having a hot start to this season. Keep in mind that he is only 22.

Nolan is a smarter hockey player, and definitely knows how to take the body better than Dubinsky... but if you're looking for the type of player that can score a goal and possibly be a future guy to rely on, you want Dubinsky. I'm not sure of his playing style because he's from the Eastern Conference and he only plays Detroit once a year if that, but he seems like a future all star caliber player.

Don't get me wrong, I'd let Nolan try out for my team any day. I'd love to see him in a Red Wings jersey at a Dallas Drake type roll. He would definitely make a good 3rd or 4th line forward for the Red Wings. I just don't see him as more of an enforcer with a decent shot anymore.
