Anyone remember some of the drama that went down like the car crash chick who missed her secret meet up with the guys?

This is the second time I have seen a TNS member not be aware of the Sum 41 significance of a post about a message board.

The Goon Platoon was Sum 41's official fan club for several years.

I was a member of the Goon Platoon but I never used the message board. I still have the poster they sent out to the members when the Goon Platoon was closed.

No, I think that was before my time as a Sum 41 fan. Unless that's the same as the slagbook thingy before Underclass Hero came out.

i remember browsing through it before it closed and seeing huge fights between people. pretty sure Asho was on one end of the biggest fight. i also remember seeing Phili around.

actually, i remember one topic that Deryck made about Dave's departure and then asho responding with something along the lines of "Shut the fuck up deryck, dave WAS sum 41". correct me if I'm wrong.

Yeah, I'm not too original because I must've joined sometime after that. I just remember Deryck's apology post that was taken off the slagbook, but then reposted. Someone also posted it on Wikipedia one time, but it wasn't on there very long.

Yeah... Asho got pretty pissed. I remember giving her some shit for that one. What she said to Deryck WAS out of line.

I remember that.

I was a member of the goon platoon. And when my membership expired, I renewed it. About 10 days later, they closed it. I never received my poster. Needless to say, I was less than impressed.....
Oh well.

And also, if my memory serves me correct, which it almost never does, wasn't Asho also the "car crash chick" you were referring to. She either missed a concert....or was in a car crash, but still ended up making it to the show. And then, in the end, they cancelled.....or something like that. Perhaps....?

And on a sidenote....I thought what she said to Deryck was both hilarious, and completely reasonable. He said the wrong thing at the wrong time, and understandably, people were upset, myself included. He later apologized, which was nice, but at the time, I really didn't feel bad for the attack on him.
It's kind of a nice, ironic feeling, being able to tell off one of your idols.
