Fleet Foxes

Post by Bass Cone »

This band is realllllly good. Just listening to their song White Winter Hymnal creates beautiful imagery in my mind that I have never really experienced before. I don't know if a lot of you would like them, they aren't punky at all, more folky. This probably won't get a lot of response, but I'm bored.
I use this song as an example of how little it takes for this band to be great. It's also stuck in my head.

Well, I'm not a big fan of the folk-like sound at the moment, but that song wasn't band. I really enjoyed the video too, haha. =P

I'll try to give them more of a chance when I have time.

I would never force anyone to like a band, i just wish people would at least check them out. And it takes a couple listens to fully grasp whatever you're listening to. It took me a while to realize the charm of some bands. It works the other way too; it takes a couple listens for me to come to a conclusion that the band is repetitive or just sucky.
