Just curious to know, how many people have contacts or glasses??

and any tips for a first timer with contatcts?

contacts for sure though i'm using glasses now

im supposed to wear glasses when im reading from a distance or watching tv, i dont though, cos im hardcore...

and i look a twat in them

I wear contacts to school and out in public, but when I stay at home oever the weekends or w/e, I just use glasses.

Vision = 150/20 and 175/20

i got contacts nearly a year ago.
pretty handy, cause i never used to like wearing glasses.
i really only need them for distances.

i need glasses or contacts for everything without them i see nothing

Same here. I'm not as self-confident as I would like to be in public, so wearing glasses was always a fight for me.

I wore contact lenses for a year and half and just 3 or 4 months ago one of them started hurting my eye, so I started wearing glasses in public again.

I think glasses played a major role in my complexes.

I wore glasses from 7-9 grade.
I now wear contacts since I got my hair cut a week before school started.

I wear both, I really want to get Laser eye surgerry though, it's a pain putting contacts in every day

I'm wearing my glasses right now because (like Tom said) I never put them on in weekends when I stay at home. Most of the time I'm using contacts but I always keep my glasses incase something happens and I need them for some reason.

I've got contacts. I used to wear glasses when I was 10 up until I was 15, then I switched to contacts. I hated glasses because I'd always get mine knocked off as a kid when I played sports and they've get all bent out of whack and not fit properly anymore and they were just a pain. Contacts made that much easier.

I wouldn't mind laser eye surgery in the future though.

i don't wear glasses or contacts, but my vision is not perfect. in fact, in driver's training when we had to do the vision test, i winged it and got it perfect. i could hardly make out the letters, but i had to do it fast so they wouldn't put anything on my license etc.. my vision isn't bad, but it's not perfect. and glasses would be a waste of money because the lenses would be really thin.

sooo, ya. i guess i can't participate in the poll.

i used to wear specs. started wearing it when i was 2 til i was 12. i had some small eyeball crap, so yeah. now i don't wear it anymore but im very sure i'm gonna have to wear it very soon because i spend way too much time on the computer. my friends are always in pain cos of contacts so.. specs are better.

glasses ftw. you look awesome wearing them (if you know what kinds to buy). i have contacts but i hate wearing them. DRY AND UNCOMFORTABLE

I prefer contacts and wear them most of the time in public and school and such, but towards the end of the day they start to blur my eyes so I usually wear my glasses when I'm at home at night.
