since deryck said the whole album is about his life.. whats the meaning of underclass hero?

I will try to explain the way I interprate it...
As far as I know, Deryck's youth wasn't that great: he didn't meet his father, was having sex all of the time (allthough that must have been great, but it's still weird at such a young age),...
Anyway; he didn't have as much chances and oppurtunities as other children did, I guess.
He wasn't that rich probably, but he made it to the top.
I think that's what he means: I may be from the underclass, but hey: I can be a hero as well!

About the sex part, yeah, that was probably amazing, dammit! He fuckin' did it at the age of 13, while I myself gonna be 17 tomorrow and I haven't done it and i'm sure lots of guys here didn't haha, so we all would want to be Deryck (and not only b-cuz of that).

Deryck has said the meaning the song in man interviews, but just to make it clear, it's sort of their wake up song. I believe it was the first song they wrote back from their long hiatus. Sort of like how they were really close to ending the band then deryck suddenly found song writing fun again and wrote that song, I assume.

It's probably about his life and when the band went on that long hiatus. They lost Dave and fired a bunch of people so they had to work their way up from barely anything like when they first started.

I'm guessing it's about the same thing subject to change is lol

its about how they lost their guitarist and manager, but still made it though came out with their best work yet

Yeah, pretty much coming back on top even though people thought they couldn't do it. They didn't really make much success though.
