Hey guys I have a black tele, not the delux but Its close enough i wanted to add the red xs for decoration, any suggestions on what to use?

Electrical tape ftw. But you might have to go over it a few times, depending on how transparent the tape is.

Lmfao as tempting as blood sounds I might go with the tape but 2 questions. If i put tape on my guitar and leave it for a few weeks then decide to take it off will it rip up paint with it? And whats the best place to get some red electrical tape?

I had red electrical tape on my guitar for like two years, and then decided I wanted to take it off. It didn't do anything to the guitar's paint, there was just a mark where you can see the outlines of the X's because of the dust that collected around the sticky edges of the tape.Sirbiznatch wrote:Lmfao as tempting as blood sounds I might go with the tape but 2 questions. And you can buy electrical tape in any hardware store or any place that sells stuff relating to home electronics.
I actually have red, yellow, green, black and blue tape. I was tempted to change the colors of my Tele, but I have the current red X's just as I want them I don't want to change them.

I may sound stupid but whats the difference between normal Red tape and electrical Red tape?

Well I dunno what you mean by normal red tape but electrical tape is basically like rubber tape if that helps.
