I have to say. This album should be nominated for the biggest let down of 2008. It has been overhyped everywhere (JORDAN / NIC) and really just hasn't been able to back the hype. A lot of the songs, imo, sound the same.. and I have yet to find one that was even close to as epic as the first few tracks of Everything In Transit. I don't know. Maybe I'm just fucked up.

I think that's part of it. The Mixed Tape has such a rad opening riff and I keep looking for another Jack's Mannequin song that has any sound like that. I hate the whole idea of electronic, and they did a lot of that. The Resolution is the best song on that album no question, but I wouldn't call it the best song they've made.

I pulled this one out of a blue frog, but yeah, after reading the reviews from here I didn't expect it to be epic. I listened to it before I went to bed. I didn't even really like The Resolution that much. I'll have to give it a second listen. I fell asleep half way through, but I kind of liked whatever was the 3rd-5th track on the album. There was a couple I thought were alright.
