I'm a photographer and I just put together a site on my dad's domain.

I tend to talk about games, movies, music, pictures i stumble across online, and pretty much whatever else i feel like talking about.

For the most part, I take pictures of bands. Usually live, but I'm supposed to do promos for my friends band soon.
But I have a little bit of everything in there.

Its a tough field to get into. It will definitely be a hobby for the rest of my life, but I'd love to make a career out of it.

do photographers get paid good?

It really depends on the job.
Freelance doesn't make too much.
Staff photographers for papers and magazines usually are a salary I think.
Getting in with the press is tough though. They usually don't give a shit about you if you're a freelancer, unless you come up with a really amazing photo.. then maybe..

I like the ghost bowling picture. I thought it was pretty clever, although I'm unsure if you were attempting to make it like that. I like taking blurry pictures of myself for some reason. I have like 2 or 3 myspace pictures that are way blurry.

Yeah, that was on purpose. It was an example of Subject Motion Blur for my class.
