So, in Finland, after turning 18, every man is obliged to go trough a military service for 6-12 months, depending on what position you're going to be trained in. You can decide when to go, but before turning 29.

So, I graduated from high school this year, so to me, this is the best time to do this.
I applied for becoming an air force pilot, so I'm doing the service for 12 months.

The service starts for me on July 7th, and lasts a year.
This upcoming week is very busy for me, to get all my stuff (like bank accounts etc) arranged before leaving, and to meet my friends and relatives (especially my grand-parents), since I'm away for a year.
We will get some days off couple of days in a month, but the distance between my home town and the place for service is about 300 miles, so I won't visit my home too often.

So, that's why you won't hear from me for a while.
Admins, you have done some great work with the site, so keep up the same and don't give too much freedom to the spammers.

That's depressing. I wish you the best of luck. That's a gay law that you HAVE to go into the military/airforce... If you want to then great, go for it, if you don't then try and have fun with it. I'm sure we will all miss you.
