Ok on the making of underclass hero if you go to about 22:56 you can see a guy in the backround set down what looks like a bong, and then a few seconts later a he puts down a lighter. I'm not joking, the quality's to shity to know for sure but it does really look like a bong.

Here's why. Rob edits really carefully. Rob is really good friends with Deryck. Deryck's wife, Avril, is anti-drugs. She would slaughter Deryck if she knew he was anywhere near drugs, and she probably has watched this mini-doc in much better quality (probably seen the original videos) and definitely knows what such drug peraphinalia (spelling?) looks like.

On another note, it does look like a bong. This is a bit of a stretch, but it also looks like a flashlight.

Ionno if it's that much of a stretch to think that Sum 41 may be in the company of drug users more often than not. Deryck has stated numerous times that he was stoned all the time on the AKNF tour. I tend to think that he is, in fact, clean now, but it wouldn't surprise me if some of the people they tend to associate themselves with are users.

I think it is a bong, but i also think that maybe its just one of the people there is in fact the stoner and not the sums, maybe their sound technicians or some of the people they worked with in the studio are stoners.

i love how avril is apparently so anti drug yet she drinks like a mother fucker.

I have the DVD version of it. I just watched it and it is definitely a flash light. I am 200% sure.
