So, how many people here are actually believers and what are your thoughts about christianity or religion in general? I personally am Christian but I'm not very pious. I still pray every night before sleeping and try to be a good person. I want to go to heaven when I die u know

I'm a Christian. I used to go to church a lot because I went to a Christian private school. Ever since I got out of there and went to high school I haven't been going much. I still believe though.

well i'm atheist I went to a catholic school for 13 years , they tried to wash my brain there , now i hate everythingg related to the catholic church for me they are a bunch of hipocrites if you have money they treat you well if you don't have money they treat you like shit

I go to Catholic school and have been since Kindergarten. But I'm not religious at all. I don't go to Church, I don't pray, the only thing I do is stuff my mom makes me do. She makes me go to Confirmation classes and summer youth group things as a peer leader. I don't know if I believe in God. Somedays I think maybe and somedays I think absolutely not. But of course I won't tell anyone this...

I agree with you a little bit. Churches are somewhat corrupt these days.

^ Not all. I think in here they are not. But idk about Canada or other countries. I don't go to church either exept when we go there from school.

Well I was in Hebrew Scriptures class this year and we had to analyze the first 10 or so books in the bible. With each chapter it made me hate religion even more. It was so ridiculous to me. We were even taught that a lot of it was made up. The bible was written about 1000 years after everything in the old testament happened during the Babylonian Exile. The hebrews were desperate for some kind of comfort during this time because their temple was destroyed and they were forced to live among others of pagan religions. So who knows how much of the bible is true...

idk, I'm not really anything, but I'm not atheist.....Like I believe in iGod and Jesus, and celebrate christmas, but that's really all I do.

honestly, i dont believe much in religion. theres so much hyporcrisy and the whole point of it is to make us all feel guilty.
religion is just a scheme to stop us asking questions about the unexplained.

I went to my cousins church, and that was pretty diesturbing. They had a video of sceamo jesus music, the pictures in the video included a bleeding baby, a dead horse, and a alive guy nailed to a cross with blood flowing down his arms


On topic: I believe in God and Jesus, and i only go to church when i have to.

my whole family is catholic but i really dont believe in god or jesus. the whole concept seems very hypocrital and self-contradicting. im not sure if i should call myself an atheist though cuz im open to believe there's something up there but not god.
what bugs me the most is that my family is always trying to pull me into catholicism again and they're pretty much like me. they don't go to church, the don't read the bible, they never pray. the only difference is they say they're catholic and i don't.
