I remember reading somewhere here that Deryck told Cone what to play for the bass parts in underclass hero. What's the deal with that? Is there a video or something?

On the jap UH dvd, there is a part where deryck is pretty much telling him what to play.

i remember on the making of UH that Cone came up qith a cool bassline for Confusion and Frustration, i think it was, and Deryck told him to change it to something different. Cone can do way better on bass than what he showed on UH

Yeah, in the Making Of Underclass Hero (included in UH Japan Tour Edition), Deryck tells Cone to change his lines in Underclass Hero and in Confusion And Frustration.
It's funny how Deryck says it in their conversations.
In CAFIMT, he says "I don't know if I can agree with that",
and in UH "We had done this song 6 months ago or something, now all of a sudden I hear something new".

Yea, it kind of pisses me off to think about.
Cone shits all over deryck on bass, so deryck should let cone do what cone does.

when they argue about CAFIMT, cone just wants to play it one octave up.. it's not like deryck doesn't let him be creative.. he just want's him to play it an octave down.. and deryck wrote the song.. so he knows what's best for it.
if cone came up with something more creative that actually fits in to the song, im sure deryck would let him play it...
