so, anyone here watch it? its really popular where i live, everyone loves it. tbh i prefered the first series, the second just didnt have the same feel to it, it wernt as fun, too deep for my liking. anyway, discuss!

Sorry to shoot you down again but I think this show sucks too =p But i have seen a lot of it so I can say its one of the most pathetic attempt at art satire ever and has a cast that's so over pretencious and is basically a glamourization of teenage culture in the UK that really shouldn't be glamouized at all.

i think Skins was entertaining, and definately prefer the first series to the second, but it was so pretentious and unrealistic :(
but i still watched and liked it

i never said i loved this program. tbh i agree with some of your points. it just seems to be a huge hit where i live and im guessing in other parts of the UK too. and i never really comsidered it a comedy, parts of it was funny, but its not a comedy, its just a teen drama imo

i liked skins but yeah, 1st series was definatly better. 3rd series will be interesting to see how they've gone about it :S

Sorry I forgot Spaced but yeh Skins is popular across the UK, it just irritates me that people what it and I've hear many people say, oh it's so funny or oh its just like our lives. Also on another note, the plot of skins is incredibly obscure and inconsistent!
Garth Meranghis Dark Place does rule, everyone should watch that!

i like skins. but those last few episodes were shite
i thought the whole second series was shite. especially the last episode, bit of a random stoyline, tony and sid driving round the town with a coffin on top of a mini, with a hurse chasing them. yes, every teenager's life in the UK is like that, lol

yeah, Skins has been critisized [sp?] because it is over the top, and many teenagers found it's glamourisation [again, sp?] of that particular lifestyle very exclusive, like they couldn't relate to it as they were supposed to.

I know the guy that played Chris so I already knew the ending was shit.
It wasn't supposed to be a comedy.
Another great show on TV here is Lab Rats.
Makes no sense at all :P
