Background: This is a song about my friends relationship with his now ex-girlfriend. I was friends with both of them and heard two sides. I put it in to my perspective, but in his body. He was hung up on this girl for a while. My lyric skills suck, but fuck I love singing this song. I kind of relate to it too, and didn't realize it until I read it a couple of times.

i know i'm not that talented at lyrics. but i really think that line "like cancer, you make me feel like dying" is possibly the best i could have come up for the song. i heard that all the stuff you have to go through to fight the cancer makes you feel like shit and everything, and he was really depressed over this girl so i felt like writing a song about it because both of them came to me with the sides they chose and she really broke up with him because she was bored & was scared to take the relationship up to the next level and wanted something new. since then though he's tried getting over her while she's somehow the one hung up on it. he just felt at the time like he hated life & wished he was dead & idk it was terrible.

Comments like "you should work on this ________. Here's an idea: ______" or "I really like the chorus, but the 2nd verse needs work, this part feels a bit pointless to be in the song _______, you should take it out and rework that"
