Green Day

got me into the music i listen to now, i have loads of respect for them in whatever they do, and i love em.
Insomniac was my first cd from them, and theyre still a great band. wasnt much of an AI fan though, but i cant wait to hear new stuff from them.

I like there new song, Working Class Hero, i got my dad to listen 2 it and he said he liked it and they didnt stuff it up..so thats good coming from him

Thats not actually true haha there was a misunderstanding when Billie Joe was interviewed he said they had enough material and styles of songs for 3 different albums, I thought that to, that'd be insane. Either way it'll be good, American idiot was a huge departure from their other stuff, it brought them back into the mainstream media. Whatever they do I will support it because they are good musicians, and know how to write good songs.

they were the band who started it all for me.
i wouldnt have listened to a lot of bands that i do now (including the sums) if it wasnt for them
i prefer their older stuff though; dookie & nimrod.
