I know there probably isn't a single worst book ever, but what's the worst one you've ever read? I don't usually read much unless the book is about something I like (musician biographies, how-to books... etc.) But I must say the worst book I have ever read (in school and for fun) has to be "Asher Lev."

The book is about this Jewish kid named Asher Lev that wants to go to art school and he draws. And that is pretty much the whole jist of the story my friend. It's tough to explain through the computer, but if you've read it, you'll know how boring and uneventful and dry the book is. I had to read it in school and it is by far the worst book I've ever had been forced to read.

Anyways, what are yours?

Across Five Aprils. I read it in 7th grade and it was so horrible i ripped it in half when i was done with it.

the only books i have to read is either on bands or instuctions
the ONLY exeption is a book that is required to be read in school and that was all the books i ever read. So theres a lot of bad book out there. Sorry to be so negeive but thats my POV. :|

it was 500 pages long, it was took so long to start the action. i read up to page 100, and still nothing! it was about some blind kind and he/she was trying to shoot a bow and arrow at a target. that was basically the first 40 pages. smething to do with hinding in a tree, ah i forget. it was some kind of fantasy book.

we read Macbeth this year in English, and i really didnot like it at all.

we had to read a book at school last year "de teves a meves"( in catalan )it was pointless

For me, It's actually classed as a novelized Play but, my least favorite book is Mary Queen Of Scots Go Her Head Chopped Up
