has anyone ever realized it that in 1:51, "Sergio" (Steve) drops his cymbals on the side. The whole video just continued with it lying down on the floor

yea i noticed a long time ago. i saw it when i was starting to play drums and it made me think cymbals were useless

The cymbal does actually make it's way back up at one point after it falls. The guys have mentioned it, I think.

I think that part is paying homage to the video they parodied by The Strokes. I believe the cymbals fall in that video too.
