like, muertos vivos is an amazing album
are there any other canadian-alternative-metal/rock bands people could recommend?

Same thing happened to me when I got Muertos Vivos. Never was really into their old stuff but I loved this album.

A Day To Remember. Their stuff is sick, it's blend of hardcore and pop punk

Yeah only really similar one would be Three Days Grace. Other good ones though that are kinda in the same genre are Billy Talent, Rise Against, Anti-Flag, Alexisonfire, etc..

i actually despised the new album. i did not like it. i don't mind We're all dying, but the other songs are blech.

its funny, the first few times i listened to it, i didn't like. but now when you mentioned it, i listened to it again, and its not that bad. but the other songs are blech. :P

Love their older stuff. I didn't really like the new album too much. Maybe it will have to grow on me.
