Blink 182 last album this one shows maturity of the band in their songs maybe this ones is considered their best job but not in the commercial way.
i didnt like how blink had changed so much, but the songs and lyrics were so fucking amazing and i will never stop listening to it (as a matter of fact im listening to down as i type). it's a shame they didnt do another album after this one.

blink changed a load after toypaj but if they just did another album like that people would loose interest, i now respect that the album was a hell of alot more mature and this is the greatest album i have ever heard in my opinion.

it deserve a fucking 10 out of 5!

A brilliant album from the post-hardcore genre. Catchy riffs and vocals with the odd addition of screamo. The last track is a major acoustic let down but the rest of the songs are amazing and definately worth checking out if you're into the metal/hardcore/emo scene.

This topic would be a good idea if it wasn't for everyone giving everything a 3.5 or higher. There are some bad albums out there!

Band: Arctic Monkeys
Album: Favourite Worst Nightmare
Genre: Alternative Rock

This is the British bands sophomore album. It holds quite the same appeal as the first album, however it laces it's attractive instrumentals with catchy rhymes and fairly deep lyrics. For all you Sum 41 fans, this album is much like DTLI?, it's attractive, catchy, and gives just a hint of darker tones. Whereas, in the last album the band was flying high and poppy. Now, they've grounded themselves and began to look at the world around them. If you like attractive, catchy, and loveable lyrics, go ahead and give this record a listen!

Rating: 8.5/10 Buy it, you'll probably like it!

Artist: Bullet For My Valentine

Album: The Poison

To me,this album sums up Bullet's unoriginal metal style and the crappy metal revival vibe thats going on with bands such as Trivium,Bullet and even Machine Head in recent years. When The self-titled E.P "Bullet For My Valentine" was released in late 2004 (I think) I was instantly attracted to the short, powerful songs and catchy as hell hooks. So happily,I marched to pick up The Poison once it came out. However I was to be dissapointed to discover that Bullet didnt really have anything else to offer that couldnt be found on their demo. Featuring similar hooks and juvenile lyrics combined with that same shitty four-note solo the guitarist throws into every song,it really does nothing to hint that the song-writing has developed from their five-track debut. Not to say that there isnt a nice riff here and there but overall its pretty unoriginal and quite silly-sounding to this listeners ears.

Best song: Room 409

Worst song Tears Don't Fall

Overall score: 1.5/5
