For all you Mac lovers who can't afford one.

Obviously if you're reading this you have some type of computer, whether you're running Macintosh, Windows, or Linux, you can still do this (i see no point for Macintosh users however).

I'll tell you how to install Mac OS X on windows.

Prep.
Get a legal copy of Mac OS X (Any version) from a CD, or illegal works too. (That's the easier way)
Get PearPC (Download)
Have your computer ready with enough space.

Steps
____________________
1. (If you have an .iso already of the CD skip to step 2) Create an ISO file of the CD you have
2. Download this config (http://www.mediafire.com/?8zr9iqf2jlj) file for PearPc and place it in the PearPC Folder
3. Edit the config file with a program like notepad or something that can decode re-named text files.
4. Place the ISO in the PearPC folder, and name it "mac_install.iso'
5. Download a pre-made 6bg hard drive image from the site, and name it "mac_hd.img"
6. Place that in the PearPC folder.
7.Make a shortcut and when it asks for the file, write "pearpc.exe macosx.ppc"
8. Double click the shortcut, to run PearPC under the Mac image and install
9. Have fun with playing on Mac OS X without networking!
10. You can PM me with any questions about this. I will write them under a FAQ section here.

FAQ
If theres no networking, then how do I install stuff?
you can install stuff by making an ISO image, after the OS is istalled, and put it under PearPc's virtual hard drive.

Is there a screenshot you can upload?
Sure is.

Most windows probably won't be able to run it very smoothly. Unless you have some hardcore RAM. Great post though.

I have 1 gig of RAM, so it runs fine. However I'm saving up for a Macbook Air. I went to visit the apple Store yesterday to look around and instantly fell in love.

No, PearPC emulates the Mac's hardware, so if you tried popping in a CD to Virtual PC, it would say "Not a Mac, Please buy a Mac then install OS X"

Doesn't this only work if you have an Intel processor?

Some versions of leopard exist for PCs, but you must have a recent processor like a core 2 duo if you want to get best results. I'm on it right now, and I can tell you it rocks !!!
