I thought Derycks real guitar had two pickups but this one clearly has one.

Unless they switched out for the fans and he just finished the song with it?

The one pickup is also the reason why i don't want his Squier signature, i'll probably just buy Fender Telecaster Deluxe '72 instead, and change the pickups and shit, so i'll make my own custom Deryck signature, like his Fender.

Yeah, Deryck only uses his Squier to advertise it pretty much. He used it in both Underclass Hero and Walking Disaster videos and used it in a couple of festivals in the summer (probably for only a few songs). He played it when they released their CD and played it live, but most likely for advertisement since it sounded like crap in that performance, haha.

Technically, Deryck's actual guitar only has one pickup too. The neck pickup is unwired so it just sits in there as decoration. Deryck's Telecaster HH only had one pickup as well.

Whats that with Deryck and only one pickup? is it any good with one pickup? :o

Cuz i want to make myself a custom Fender Telecaster like Deryck's, but i dont like the idea of one pickup.

Well, Dave's "Brounsound Guitar" only has one pickup. Same with the white Les Paul he uses and his guitars sound great. It pretty much depends on what sound you want.

EDIT: Oh yeah, and Deryck's signature is routed to have a neck pickup... but you'd have to get a new pickguard.

I don't have a problem with Squiers, I'm sure there are a lot of quality Squiers out there. Personally though, I wouldn't get one to use as my main axe.

As for the Deryck Whibley signature, I'm definately getting it sometime in this life of mine. Mainly for the sake of it being Deryck's signature guitar.

It wont tune either. Maybe thats one reason

I've tried two tuners on it. And nothing.

I have other stringsd for it.

I'll do part with the strings on it now, then the other half of the vid with the new strings.

Both tuners say its tune but it still sounds terrible.
