Yeah, sadly, a lot of shows feel the need to do that to bring people in the door.

It's less irritating this time, since it's for a charity - so bringing more people in is more money for the cause, which is a good thing. But when it's private promoters who do it, it really pisses me off.

I'm not fond of how it's on the actual FLYER, too...but meh.

Yeah Dave also said he prefers they won't mention this cuz Brown Brigade need to be successful on their own.

It's always funny and sad when the kiddies come in looking for hearing x-Sum 41 tunes...and that's not what they're hearing AT ALL.

They don't even know what to do *lol*. They hang back and wait for it to be over, and then swarm Dave

Fingers crossed the weather isn't too shitty for me to get there tonight!

:(

No BB for Asho tonight.

It's freezing rain like a madman out there right now...and apparently supposed to be steadily dropping in temp down to -15 so it'll be pure ice.

I love the Brown, but seeing them again certainly isn't worth dying for.

Mega disappointing, though...

its actually an allright way of bringing in fans. they come hopeing to hear some sum 41 stuff, and they get BB. if they like it, its a plus for BB. :)

Ah, a difference of opinion between us yet again. I think its a cop out bastard way of bringing in people.

Especially since Dave doesn't want it there, and thinks it's a cop out too. He wants the band to build their own reputation, and have people coming in to see Brown Brigade, not OMGDAVEBROWNSOUND. He wants a fanbase to develop outside of the Sum 41 fans who support him. Not to mention that saying "x-Sum 41" makes people make assumptions about the band and their genre...and then NOT go see them because they expect pop-punk, Sum 41-stylings of music, when maybe they would like what BB is actually playing *shrug*

BB isn't on until 11.

But if the weather is bad enough between London and Windsor - Toronto to Windsor wouldn't be the best idea.

Pretty sure I'm not going, yet again. Even though the weather network says it's not a big deal - my boyfriend is convinced it is and is bitchy at me still wanting to go.

Relationships - who needs 'em!? haha
