new blog....

Post by mattyw_rules »

Its been a while since we've updated everyone on what is going on with The Operation M.D. So here goes. I convinced Dr. Rocco to come up to the arctic, the place where I call home, Toronto. He has been up here for the past week and we have been in the studio together writing new songs. We've got alot of shit done in the past week and we've come out with around 10 new songs in total. Some of the songs we've had on the go for the last year and some are completely new. We've been working pretty hard the last week except when we took a break yesterday of coarse to get completely wasted on New Years Eve. I am bed ridden today with a massive hang over and Dr. Rocco is out right now having bloddy marys to cure his hang over. Me, I just eat tons of Thai food and complain about my head all day and that seems to help. Anyway we are going to be getting together over the next few months to write some more songs together. We hope to have around 20 that we are happy with and then we pick the songs that will go on the next Operation M.D. album. Not sure when we will record the next record yet but you can bet your sweet ass there will be a next one.
Thats the latest.
Have a good 2008.

Love Dr. Dynamite

cool. if 10 are already ready, so it sounds pretty awesome.
I hope we'll see the next album soon, hopefully in the summer :D

and that's really fast, cuz like it takes a lot more for the sums to record an album, and here comes the Opeartion and comes up with new songs already, less than a year after the release of their latest album.

sweet!! :D :P

I'm glad to hear there'll be another album! We Have An Emergency definitely showed potential for some great things outta these guys.

Their music seems to have the spirit that Sum 41's music is lacking these days.
Like, they enjoy making the music.

I like some Thai food. I'm really bad with spicy stuff and almost everything Thai is somewhat spicy so it's kind of hard to eat for me.

Agreed. I've seen the Sum 41's latest live shows, and they don't show that much energy anymore....they just stand there play and then get off.....I miss Cone and Dave walking around the stage and jumping around and stuff.
