How to make Underclass Hero guitar sounds with Microcube?

Post by kloppis »

Hello. I have Affinity Tele and Roland MicroCube. So my problem is that i can't do same-sounding guitar effects than Deryck used in UCH. Can someone teach to me fex. how you can make Best of me -sound. Thanks and merry Christmas :)

Chances are you'll only be able to get so close to his tone with that equipment. He's using tube Marshalls and Les Paul Jrs on that song, which is very high-end gear.

Hmm. I have a microcube also. I'm getting a Line 6 spider for Christmas though.

The best way to get the sound would be by buying some pedals. I hope that helped a tiny bit.

I must ask about pedals but I didn't remember. So what pedals I should buy? Cheap and good :).

By the way, Merry Christmas

I recommend the Boss DS-1 distortion pedal, its probably one of the best and cheapest ones you can find.

Once you get a distortion pedal put your micro cube on a clean preset like black panel (i think thats the one, i dont have mine in front of me) or something and turn on your distortion pedal. Just experiment with sounds from there.

Merry Christmas.

ok i didn't know what a microcube was, so i looked it up, and i can guarantee you all you'll get out of that is a "distortion" or "clean" sound. if it eve has distortion. but you will not get good sound out of it. i mean..come on..it runs on batteries.

In the Studio Update you see Deryck playing a Les Paul Jr. to Underclass Hero.
