So, anyone like these guys? If you're like Deryck, you probably wont. They're a Canadian band that has played with Sum 41 before (you'd know this from the Sympatico videos).

These guys, I suppose, fall into the mathcore genre. So their music (mainly guitars) is really technical. They sound similar to bands like Thrice and maybe Atreyu with less screamo and whatnot.

I definately think this band is an acquired taste. At least, for me it was. I bought their album, Kezia, when it came out in 2005 and I didn't start listening to it fluently until the past two weeks.

Also, apparently they wrote Kezia before they were able to play it. I don't know if that's just the concept of the album or the music as well, but it would be pretty amazing if the latter was included. If you listen to one song and think that they wrote that before they could even play it... it's pretty amazing.

NOT a fan.

I saw them open for Sum 41 more than once. And my ears were bleeding.

Very, VERY not my taste.

Haha, it's understandable. Out of all my friends I think only me and one other person like them.

A lot of their songs jump all over the place. One part will be really melodic and the next will be the opposite.

PS - I was reading the album booklet from Kezia and one of the people they thanked was none other than "Dave Brownsound". :)

I like Heretics & Killers, Nautical, and Blindfolds Aside.

You should probably listen to Blindfolds Aside first though. It's okay if you don't enjoy it on your first listen; I didn't.
