Does anyone know any good video editing software? I'm trying to put all 3 of the Imaginationland episodes from South Park together but I don't wanna use Movie Maker because I want to be able to put it on my iPod.

Any suggestions?

Use movie maker then convert it with total video converter 8)

I used to have total video an it would demolish the quality of it. Besides the clips I'm getting will probably be flash videos so I need something that can play them.

so basically you want something that edits .flv files? well i can tell you right now there is none, if you convert them to .avi or .wmv or .mov then you can get places. you can use sony vegas (get it from limewire or torrents) then you can edit using that but you're still going to need to use something to convert it for ipod. i have a good program but its only for mac. theres a TON out there for PC that if they arent free you can get them through torrents.

Well I do want to edit it to some degree, like cutting the credits out between all the episodes to make it one long one. I know there's a shitload of programs I just dunno which is the best one or which ones are even good ones. I use to have Ulead video editor or whatever it's called and it hacked the shit out of the quality, not to mention how the videos kept skipping. But I'll try the sony vegas thing you suggested and then just look for something to convert the finished product to mp4 format

adobe for professionalism and total control.
Pinnacle Studio 11 for ease of use.

adobe for professionalism? nah...
its decent, but it is not professional.

Final Cut Pro is professional.

pinacle blows. almost as much as WMM

i think adobe is professional to a degree, and you can torrent it pretty easily

final cut pro is unfair because its only for macs but i hope to get that when i get my imac
so far i have saved like £300 lmao i have ages to go to reach £1149
oh and i agree pinnacle or ulead for what you want

hey man, if your looking to get into the industry...a mac is a necessity. but yes its a decent program. alot of the features are the same as FCP

I had ulead and it pretty much equaled shit. The exported videos would skip because it rendered them wrong and the quality was horrible and it didn't sync properly. So I ditched it, downloaded what Rick suggested and now all I need is something that can convert FLVs to something else so I can use them.

Any ideas?

Oh and is there something wrong with flvs ripped using replay media catcher because I ripped the south park flvs with that and I tried to convert them with SUPER and it said they had a damaged file header or something

Yeah I think so, but it's quality fails and not all the flvs I get are on youtube
