im talking about the classic Axe deordorant and lighter. i actually tried that the other day to light a fire in our fireplace and it worked awesomly. i did the same today because we had no shreded paper.

i found a thing on th inter-web that if you take a dollar bill (or any piece of paper), soak it in water and a alchohol solution and light it, i won't burn the paper.

i experimented by soaking the paper in water, then spraying it with the Axe, then i lit it on fire and only the Axe burnt off. leaving the paper unharmed.

this leads me to ask, if you do the same to your hands, would it do the same?

you would soak you hands for a while, then have someone spray the Axe on you hands. with a camera near by, light your hands on fire and take the picture. ASAP dunk you hands in the water.

of corse this is a seriopus risk, but if you have the nessary equiptment and saftey equiptment (ie. bucket of water) it could be pulled of.

now, you may be asking, why would you light you hands of fire?
think about it, how cool would look in a picture if your standing there with your hands out and fire coming from them? that would look SOOO sweet.

Oh, btw! It works with basically any spray can: deodorant, hair spray, insect repellent, etc.

i got to try that

when i got camping i spray bug spray on the fire, or grab a stick thats on fire and spray it with bug spray. it does the same thing. any aerosol can and fire works, or even like a lighter and spray deoderant.

oh and if you guys want to know how to make a giant (2 ft. ish) flame from a lighter (needs to be a certain kind) just pm me.

resulted in a torched furby and a melted CD :P long story short... we were bored, the furby was freakin annoying so i figured it would be fun to kind of burn it at the stake used a can of deodorant to kick it off and then when it was flaming sprayed it again... great fun... theres a video of the whole thing somewhere but i dont have it

Oh and i have seen people light their arms on fire by spraying their arms with deodorant... awsome but freaky shit... a bunch of guys i know used to do it constantly a few years back... i dont have a picture unfortunately coz the guy dunked his arm in the pool before the picture took so all you can is the tiniest bit of flame while hes dunking his arm... but yes it does work... not that id recommend anyone try it of course...

I've sprayed hairspray through a lighter though - that's not a new "axe" trick...people have been doing shit like that since way before axe was invented.

Setting yourself on fire because it will "look cool" is moronic. I think THAT part of it is a new generation thing, since this generation is ridiculous and doesn't seem to have a grasp on their own mortality at all.

we set my friends legs on fire for a film once. the worst part was that his hands were tied behind his back so we had to get other people to put it out, he wore like two pears of jeans and all this shit under his pants and it still burnt his legs a bit, and it was only like 10 seconds if that.

okay i actually tried it, well not really. i wore some gloves and filled them with water so that there was water between my hands and the gloves so it would slow down the cumbustion betweent the hands and the gloves. but were it was tight, it did kinda burn. i did it at my kitchen sink and had a constant stream of water running, so it was all good.

and to Asho, just imagine yourself at night with fire on your hands kinda looking like the undertaker. don't you think that would look sweet?

hehe one of the guys that lit themselves on fire looked freakin awsome with it... picture a guy dressed in all black with a big black jacket and a sort of a creepy print on his tshirt, with this full serious look on his face staring at his flaming hand held infront of him... it was brilliant damn i wish id gotten a picture :( but yeh you can only do it for like a second before you gotta put it out... i should probably point out that these mates of mine were and still are absolutely insane...
