If a song becomes a single do you like it more or less?

9 times out of 10 i like it less because they overplay it

More usually because most of the time it gets a video.
So if the video is good, i like the song more.
Sort of.

It usually doesn't affect me much whether the song becomes a single or not. But I'm leaning more towards less.

i'm the kinda guy, where if everyone is doing it i've got to stop.
eg.

i wore spikey belts and converse shoes before it was "cool" it became cool so i had to stop.

i feel the same way with music, once everyone starts liking the song i like it less

neutral.

i don't listen to the radio much, and couldn't give a shit what was "in". if a single is good and i like it, it doesn't change my mind. but usually if a single i don't like is overplayed on what little radio i listen to, i hate it as much as a human being can hate anything.

The only thing i hate is when people call themselves "Fans" for listening to
the single.

yeah i don't listen to the radio at all (expect when im in the car) because they play the same songs over again esp. on the hits radio stations. but on the alternative station i listen to i don't listen to it often because they have turned to playing all those shitty whiny emo bands that i hate.

Less, like with Underclass Hero (the song). i heard it million times before the release of the album ,when it was even leaked before the video and all and it was awesome.
Then the video was airing every second and all and from everywhere you hear it, and any new interview with the guys they put it on background or showing bits from the video, its annoying!

so i must say, in most cases, i'll like it less although i'm always happy to see new videos of songs from bands i like. no matter what.

it doesnt really matter if u like a song then u like the song if its a single then cool if not whatever, and all these people who complain "i really liked this band a long time ago but now everyone likes them because they have a popular single, so i dont like them anymore." thats the dumbest thing ive ever heard what does it matter how many people like a band ur not a true fan if thats the case, do u want ur fave bands to stay under the radar forever if so they will never make enough money and will have to quit so if it makes u mad wen ur fav bands hit the big time ur an idiot.
