ummm discussion topic.... oh ya. my school bus driver hit a kid on the way to school today. :o

Wtf dude. How does that even happen? Was the kid okay? How fast was the driver going? Is the driver fired? Did the driver get charged?

well the first main thing you have to realize is that it snowed this morning, so the streets were slippery.

i don't know if the kid is okay or not, but at the scene, he was is real pain. i heard him screaming.

our bus wasn't going that fast 35 km/h at the most. and im thinking that we may have hit a tire and magled the bike up and not really hit him, but the force of impact and fall were enough.

i don't know if the bus driver is fired but, he got a substitue to pick us up after school. i doubt he'd be fired though. people getting hit by cars is not that common, but not extreme enough to get a guy fired. he was most likely writting up a report and stuff.

but ambulance did come and take the kid to the hospital, which wasn't that far, only about 4 blocks away.

i'll find out on monday if he's fired or not. highly doubt it...

He was screaming just from getting hit at 35 km/h? Let us know (or me, if no one else cares) what his injuries were. If it's just bruises, he's a pussy haha. Although...how old was the kid? I suppose 35 is fast enough to hurt someone pretty bad if it hits you right especially if you're pretty little...

ya he's pretty young my guess would be 10. around there. most likely younger. and i will not know his injuries because it's likely i will never see the kid again. (im not saying he'll die, just i couldn't tell from the bus who it was)

Getting hit by a bus would be pretty traumatizing that young.

Although I'm pretty sure I woulda laughed if I hadda witnessed it. I think I'm a bad person haha
