im looking to get a Paul Reed Smith SE singlecut, but there's just one concern, whats the neck gonna be like? im playing a Fender standard strat and those have thin necks, where the PRSs have fat ones. anyone had to go through that transition before? is it hard to get used to? how long does it take?

i've never really cared too much about neck comfortability, and kinda like a little bit fatter neck, but i think they're extremely comfortable. i play a fender, and i've played a singlecut before and found it to be a very easy transition. they do call it a "wide-fat" neck, but its actually not to big. try to find any prs se series guitar and try it out for yourself

If its a fatter neck, it'd sorta be like playing with an acoustic guitar I suppose, but not as extreme.

Exactly. I like the Gibson necks more than Fender, which is way thinner..

^^ that's a fact, gibson guitars are way better than fender guitars in everything, not just the neck
